The Freshman smoker will be held this year on May 2 at 7.30 o'clock in the Living Room of the Union, it was announced yesterday by Marshall Stearns '31, chairman of the smoker committee.
For this annual assembly of the first year class, one which this year will last for only one hour, Roy Lamson '29 and his Harvardians will furnish music. Food will be served and souveniors distributed to the assemblage.
Several speakers have been scheduled to address the Freshmen. The evening's entertainment will be opened with a short talk by S.L. Batchelder '31, president of the class. Following, a short talk will be given by one of the assistant deans in charge of the Freshman Class, Mitchell Gratwick '22 or W.L. Nichols '26.
