PHYSICS OPEN HOUSE WILL WELCOME CONCENTRATORS

As an inauguration to the adoption of the Tutorial System by the Department of Physics, Assistant Professor N. H. Black '96 announced last night that an Open House will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock in Room 3 of Jefferson Physical Laboratory for the benefit of men contemplating or desiring to concentrate in the subject.

Professor G. W. Pierce, A.M. '00, and others will explain what opportunities are open to men concentrating in Physics. A chance will be afforded to inspect the various sorts of advanced studies which are now being carried out in the Jefferson and Croft Laboratories. Those attending this informal conference will also be able in small groups to see the researches now being conducted in high pressure, spectroscopy, and high frequency electrical currents.
