CURTIS FIRST CANDIDATE DISCUSSED IN CRIMSON

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With today's issue the CRIMSON opens its series of articles dealing with ten leading Presidential candidates. Five Democrats and five Republicans will be treated in these articles, all of which are written by nationally-known political writers, and reprinted by courtesy of The Independent.

The series will be concluded before March 19, when the CRIMSON will open a two-day poll of the University to determine the trends of opinion on the possible nominees.

Today's article, dealing with Charles Curtis of Kansas, was written by Charles Merz, author of "The Great American Bandwagon." It will be found on page three of this issue. The next article, on Alfred E. Smith of New York, will appear at an early date.
