Sirs:

Were it not that I felt that I was expressing the general sentiments of the University I would not be moved to write.

The CRIMSON'S treatment of the problem of the Reading period has shown a half-hearted vacillation and has been grossly inadequate. The Lampoon, funsters as they are, have shown far more intelligence. Sincerely   WILLIAM LAWRENCE, 71.
