The annual competition for manager of the Freshman track team will open on Monday, April 2 and will end during the third week of May with no required work during the spring vacation. The competition this year will consist chiefly of routine work at the field and certain duties at the H. A. A. Candidates will not be asked to work more than three or four days a week. There wil be trips with the Freshman or University team to Andover, Exeter, Dartmouth, and Philadelphia.
The winner of the competition and the assistant will both receive class numerals, and will manage the Yale Freshman meet. The third man to place will become Freshman cross country manager next fall.
In addition to becoming a member of the I. C. A. A. A. A., the winner of the competition will make a trip to England for the Oxford-Cambridge meet in his Senior year.
