Six members of the University wrestling team qualified in the preliminary round of the New England intercollegiate wrestling tournament last night at Tufts College.

In one of the best matches of the evening J. F. Solano '30, in the 158-pound class, defeated Spellman of Brown, New England champion last year, who has been defeated only once by Miller of Yale. T. D. Howe '28, scored Harvard's only fall, when he threw Currit of Tufts at the end of five minutes. With one point per fall scored in the preliminaries. Tufts stands 4, Harvard and Brown each 1.

115-pound class L. J. Chibas '28 defeated Perkins (M. I. T.), decision.

125-pound class J. H. Burns '29 defeated Cullen (M. I. T.), decision

135-pound class Joseph Lifrak '29 defeated Gentile (M. I. T.), decision.

145-pound class C. C. Corson '28 defeated Alper (B), decision.

158-pound class J. F. Solano '30 defeated Spellman (B), decision.

175-pound class Al Cornsweet (B) defeated Nathaniel Warner '30, decision.

Unlimited class U. D. Howe Jr. '28 defeated Currit (Tufts), fall in 5 min. 38 sec
