WACHTER CALLS MEETING OF NEW ENGLAND COURT MENTORS

Basketball Coaches to Discuss Rule Changes; Score Clause on Dribble

E. A. Wachter, University basketball coach, has called a meeting of all coaches of New England basketball this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Harvard Club of Boston. Coach Wachter, who is entirely responsible for the meeting, hopes that a Coaches' Association of New England may be formed. He believes that such an association is necessary in order that coaches may discuss basketball problems and may suggest changes to the joint Rules Committee prior to the meeting of that organization in April. Harvard's basketball mentor is of the opinion that coaches are best qualified to make suggestions for changes in rules, as they are the men who teach the game.
