INVADING ANDOVER SKATERS DEFEATED BY 1931 SEXTET

P. H. Watts '31 Star of 3 to 0 Triumph at Arena Yesterday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The strings of the goal-net of the Freshman hockey team were still un-dented by an alien goal at the close of yesterday's encounter with the Andover skaters at the Arena. Held scoreless in the first period, the 1931 sextet finished strong in the closing minutes, and registered a 3 to 0 triumph.

P. H. Watts '31, with two goals late in the game, was the individual star of the game. The game abounded in brilliant individual performances, but the lack of teamwork was evident in the Crimson six.

The summary:

Score, Harvard 1931 3, Andover 9. Goals: Second period: Batchelder 5.10, Watts 13.13. Third period: Watts 14.00. Referee, Lowe, Time, three 15-minute periods.
