"Straight Thru the Door" Shows him Better Actor than Playwright Though Gratifying as Both

G. R. Leighton '26 has been selected the winner of this week's CRIMSON play-reviewing contest, which was distinguished by more brilliant writing than was offered in the preceding contests. He will receive today a check for $25. Honorable mention has been given reviews written by P. W. Claflin '27, R. L. Hapgood '25, E. B. Spalding '26, W. H. Thompson '25, and R. A. Warner '26.

The competition will continue for one week more, and possibly longer. The play to be reviewed next week is "Grumpy", which will open on Monday at the Copley Theatre. The rules will be the same as those which governed this week's contest. Attention is drawn to the fact that winners of past contests can compete on an equal footing with other contestants. All reviews must be in by 5 o'clock next Tuesday.
