INTRAMURAL SHOTPUT EVENT CAPTURED BY GUARNACCIA

Smith Halls Five Points Ahead in Race for Interdormitory Honors

David Guarnaccia '29 won the handicap shotput in the intramural meet yesterday, while F. C. Fitts '31 took second in the intramural shotput and won this event in the interdormitory class.

As a result of yesterday's events, Smith Halls are leading Standish by five points and are expected to win the 35-pound weight event today.

The summaries follow:

Intramural Meet

16-pound shotput Won by David Guarnaccia '29; second, F. C. Fitts '31; third, G. S. Robinson '31. Distance, 42 feet, 4 1-2 inches.

Pole vault Won by B. G. Burbank '28; second, F. B. Clark '28; third, R. R. Impink '28. Height, 12 feet, 6 inches.

Interdormitory Meet

12-pound shotput Won by F. C. Fitts (Smith): second, H. P. Nichols (Standish); third, O. E. Langley (Standish).

Pole vault Won by Wayne Hobbs (Smith); second, William McKennon (Gore).
