CRIMSON FOILSMEN DUEL AGAINST COLUMBIA TODAY

Match Scheduled for Hemenway at 4 O'clock--C. B. Hollister '29 to Captain Defending Swordsmen

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University fencing team expects to encounter keen opposition from Columbia at the Hemenway Gymnasium this afternoon at 4 o'clock.

After bowing to West Point last Friday, the Crimson swordsmen have put in a strenuous week of practice, laying especial stress upon the sabres, as this is the first year that sabre matches have been included in the University meets. So far this year, the strongest department of the team has proved to be the foils. Recently C. B. Hollister '29 was elected captain of the swordsmen.

The University line-up today will be as follows:

Foils: Captain C. B. Hollister '29, M. R. Berliner '28, D. L. Modell '30. Substitutes; M. U. Copland '29, J. S. Octtinger '30.

Epee: D. L. Modell '30, M. R. Berliner '28, and Captain C. B. Hollister '29.

Sabre: M. R. Berliner '28, D. L. Modell '30, E. M. Erlick '30.
