This afternoon at 4 o'clock in Robinson Hall, Warren H. Manning, former president of the American Society of Landscape Architecture, will speak on "A National Plan." At 8 o'clock in the evening, in the Lecture Room of the Old Fogg Art Museum Sir Lawrence Weaver of London, with a series of lantern slides, will lecture on "Modern Garden Design."
Sir Lawrence is director of the United Kingdom Exhibition at the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley, President of the Design and Industries Association of Great Britain, and a former editor of "Country Life".
The lectures are the eighth and ninth of a series of lectures on Landscape Architecture that are sponsored each year by the School of Landscape Architecture. They are open to the public.
