The newly formed orchestra known as the "Freshman Players" has been engaged to play in the Commander Hotel according to an announcement just received.
This orchestra which plays no Jazz was formed less than a month ago by several students seeking employment and has rapidly sprung into such prominence as to be chosen over two groups of professional musicians to give daily concerts in the hotel.
The "Freshman Players" who will now be known as the "Hotel Commander Orchestra" will still continue to give concerts in the University. Their fourth Common Room concert was held in Smith Halls last night from 6:30 to 7:30 o'clock. They have also been engaged to play during the first of the University teas held early this winter.
