The Sophomore Class football team defeated the Senior class team 21 to 0 in a loosely played game on the class team field yesterday.
The first touchdown was made by Waldron Post '31, in the middle of the first period, on a forward pass over the goal line. The attempt at kick failed. The 1931 team clearly outplayed their rivals in all departments of the game.
Towards the end of the first quarter P. A. Ketchum '31 broke free and carried the ball 15 yards for the second touchdown. Post kicked the goal, making the score 13 to 0.
The other scores were made in the second quarter when a safety was scored, and in the last quarter when Post caught another pass and ran across the line for the final touchdown. The summary follows:
