Burns Speaks at P. B. H. Tomorrow

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A lecture, on "A Soldier Speaks for Peace" will be given in Phillips Brooks House tomorrow at 4 o'clock by V. G. Burns, who is representing the League of Industrial Democracy of which Norman Thomas is the Chairman.

Mr. Burns will state his convictions about current peace movements, which he considers useless, as they are "fundamentally unsound. They don't deal with the selfishness and savagery of our present industrial system, which lies at the root of all wars. It is ridiculous to scratch the surface and try to improve it if that below is unsound," he said.
