UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH HONORS HARVARD PROFESSOR

Professor Harvey Cushing '95 has been announced as one of the three eminent American medical men who will receive the honorary degree of Doctor of Law at the University of Edinburgh, on July 12. Professor Cushing, A.M., M.D., S.D., LL.D., Litt.D., F.R.C.S., is Mosely Professor of Surgery at the Harvard Medical School.

Besides Professor Cushing, Professor C. L. Hana, Cornell, and W. S. Thayer, Professor Emeritus at Johns Hopkins, will receive the distinction. The occasion is the visit of the British Medical Association to Edinburgh. All other recipients are Englishmen, with the exception of one eminent representative each of France, Germany, Italy, Belgium and Switzerland.
