APPLICATIONS FOR CRIMSON ELI CREW RACE CLOSE TODAY

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

All applications for tickets to the Harvard-Yale crew race at New London on June 24 must be in the hands of the Harvard Athletic Association before 5 o'clock this afternoon. Tickets, which are $5.00 each, entitle their holders to seats on the observation train which follows the progress of the race. Although the number of applications is not limited, single applications will be given preference in case the capacity of the train is exceeded. According to an announcement made by the H. A. A. last night the number of tickets already applied for indicates the improbability of there being any left for late applications.

Applications for tickets to the second Crimson-Eli baseball encounter on Soldiers Field on June 22 may still be made, although last Wednesday was officially the closing date. The possibility of adding to the wooden grandstands on Soldiers Field enables the H. A. A. to hold these applications open until the day of the game.
