Minnesota is first in percentage of alumni participation in the Harvard Law School endowment campaign, and New York is the leader in the amount of money contributed, according to an analysis of alumni contributions by states which was announced yesterday at the New York headquarters of the Fund. The analysis shows that subscriptions from alumni of the School have now been received from 46 states, and from Porto Rice. Hawaii and various foreign countries.
Out of 159 Harvard Law School alumni in Minnesota, 87 have contributed to the endowment fund, giving the state a participation rating of 54.1 per cent. Delaware is second with 47.8 per cent. Ohio third with 46.7 per cent, and New York fourth with 46.5 per cent.
In amount of money contributed the ranking of the first five states is as follows: New York, with 1542 alumni, $500.698; Massachusetts, with 2514 alumni, $212.842; Illinois, with 465 alumni, $67.475; Pennsylvania, with 457 alumni, $58.530. Ohio, with 430 alumni, $47.501.
