At a dinner given last night at the Phillips Brooks House graduate and undergraduate members of the Phillips Brooks House Cabinet paid their tribute to W. I. Tibbetts '17, retiring Graduate Secretary of the Cabinet.

Speaking in behalf of the undergraduate members, C. G. T. Lundell '27 expressed appreciation of the service rendered by Mr. Tibbetts, and at the close of his address presented the resigning secretary with a wing chair, the gift of the undergraduates in the Cabinet. G. G. Wilson '25 spoke for the graduates, and reiterated Lundell's sentiments.

Mr. Tibbetts entered the University from Worcester Academy, and was prominent in the extra-curricular activities of his class. He was Social Secretary of the Phillips Brooks House, member of several undergraduate clubs, rowed on his class crew, and served as Treasurer of his Class Day Committee. Graduating from College in June, 1917, he assumed, in February, 1918, the duties of the office of Graduate Secretary, filling the place left vacant by the resignation of A. F. Bean '03. In this capacity he has served ever since his graduation.

M. A. Cheek '26 will take the secretaryship left vacant by Mr. Tibbetts.
