Another Harvard book has been added to the great number that has already appeared this past month. "Religion and Modern Life" is its title and it contains a collection of speeches given at Phillips Brooks House from the years 1924 to 1926.
In his preface to the volume, Dean L. B. R. Briggs '75 explains that the speeches were not originally designed for publication, but that at popular demand the speakers were obliged to amplify and reconstruct the rough notes made for the speeches.
There are 16 articles in all, dealing with religion and its relation to the different phases of society handled from every angle by men whose interests vary from business to pedagogy.

J., Cadbury '10, "Ethics and Religion," by Professor G. H. Palmer '64, "What is the Good of Philosophy?", Professor R. B. Perry, G. '97, "Religion and Health," by Professor R. C.
