CLASS BALL SEASON OPENS WITH INFORMAL CONTEST

Similar Games Will Be Played This Week

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

An informal game yesterday afternoon was the first actual contest in which men reporting for class baseball have taken part this spring.

The Sophomore and Junior classes have put a sufficiently large number of men on the field to allow them to be well represented in the class league, but as yet, the sport has attracted but few Seniors.

Informal games will be in order for the rest of this week for the class baseball squads. The first games will be played shortly after the Spring recess. The initial clash which will count towards the class championship is scheduled for April 27 when the 1927 nine will meet the 1929 team. Another game, not counting for the championship but listed for the same afternoon is a game between the Junior team and a second Sophomore nine.

Additional men reporting for any of the class teams especially to the Senior squad will be welcomed. The H. A. A. will issue most of the equipment necessary.
