The Crimson superiority on the basketball court did not extend to the Harvard-Yale freshman contest Saturday night, the Blue first-year men outscoring their opponents 46 to 24. The contest was won by the better team-work and more accurate shooting of the Eli Freshmen. They took the lead early in the game and had little trouble in running up their 22-point advantage.
Townsend, captain of the winners, scored 25 points, one more than the combined efforts of the Crimson five. Nassau also starred for Yale, while Captain Wenner and Waterman played well for the losers.
