The appeal hearings of the ten Harvard students convicted in the former "riot" trial has again been delayed, and will not come up this week.
The new trial hearing was scheduled to take place after the present trial of McLaughlin, one of the car-barn bandits, and not before March 21. McLaughlin's trial has taken longer than expected, and will continue throughout the week.
When the Harvard cases finally do come up, the defense will have a larger array of witnesses than before with which to fight the issue. The trial, however, will not be so involved inasmuch as there are fewer defendants than formerly.
