SCHEDULES ANNOUNCED FOR 150-POUND CREWS

Lightweight University Boats Will Race on Charles May 21--Freshmen Meet Yale Same Day

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University and Freshman 150-pound crew schedule as well as the date of the class crew race with Yale was announced last night for the first time by Manager C. H. Weymer '27.

A regatta on the Charles with M. I. T. and Pennsylvania on May 21 is practically assured for the lightweight men, although all the arrangements have not yet been completed. This is the date of the previously arranged 150 pound triangular regatta with Yale and Princeton which was to be held on Lake Carnegie.

Because of the fact that the University 150 pound oarsmen will not be able to meet the Blue crew on that date their comparative strengths cannot be tested until they match strokes at the Henley in Philadelphia on May 28. To this regatta Coach E. J. Brown '96 intends to send a heavy crew; either the best class eight or a combination of the best men from all the class boats. There will be no official third eight this year.
