The first week of the second half year will see the start of two competitions for positions on the news and business departments of the Crimson.
The first of these, a news competition for Sophomores, will open with a meeting in the president's office at the Crimson Building tomorrow night at 7.30 o'clock. This will be the final opportunity afforded members of the Class of 1929 to gain positions on the Board by successfully writing for the news columns.
On Thursday night the business department of the University paper will open a competition for both Sophomores and Freshmen. For the Class of 1929 this will be the last, for members of the Class of 1930, the first chance to make the business board.
