CIRCOLO ITALIANO WILL PRODUCE ITALIAN PLAY

Foreign Club's First Presentation Will Be Given in January--Committee Appointed

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At the opening meeting of the Circolo Italiano, held with a dinner at the Union on Wednesday evening, it was announced by J. J. Faggiano '28, president of the club, that this year for the first time the Circolo will present a play in Italian. It will be given some time in January, probably in Boston. Professor George La Piana will assist in producing this piece and may coach the production. No play has as yet been definitely chosen, but it is understood that the officers of the Circolo are considering a play by the Italian playwright Pirandelli.

A dramatic committee was appointed, consisting of the following men: O. E. Vaccaro '29, chairman, J. K. Barre '29, R. H. Jones '30, and D. G. McCloud '28.

Another new feature of this year's program is a series of monthly dinners which are to be held at the Union during the winter, at which it is hoped to secure prominent men to talk on Italo-American affairs. Men in the fields of art, literature, and politics will be invited to speak.
