Basketball practice during the past week has been confined to fundamentals, consisting mainly in offensive and defensive formations and passing, according to Coarch E.W. Wachter, who stated last night that he would not pick a definite team until shortly before the opening game with Boston University on December 9.
There have been no scrimmages as yet, but Coach Wachter expects to stage one either tonight or Friday night in preparation for the exhibition game on December 2 in which the squad will demonstrate the changes in the basketball rules for 1927-28.
The squad was cut to 20 men last Wednesday, and since that time S.C. Burns '30 has reported for work on the court, following his season on the gridiron.

February 29--Maine.
February 29--Open.
March 3--Yale at New Haven.
