The Republican Club of Harvard, opening its quatrennial season in preparation for the approaching presidential campaign, has just announced the election of officers for the current year.
The new officers are the following, chairman, F. L. Felton '29; vice chairman, W. L. Shearer '29; secretary treasurer, Edward Dane '29; executor-at-large; R. S. Holden '29. Meeting yesterday afternoon in the club's temporary headquarters at 52 Mount Auburn Street, the executive committee, composed of the above men, drew up plans for speakers, banquets, and undergraduate elections for the year.
Among the prominent Republicans who have been invited to speak before the club is Vice President Charles G. Dawes, who may come here next month to discuss the G. O. P. platform for 1928.
