An exhibition basketball game, in which two picked teams from the University squad will demonstrate the recent changes in the rules of the game for the season of 1927-28, will be staged in Hemenway Gymnasium on the evening of December 2, it has just been announced by Coach E. W. Wachter.
This game, which has had several counterparts in past winters and is to be continued as an annual affair, is to begin at 8 o'clock and will be open to the public who may ask questions which will be answered by demonstrations from the players.
Plans for the informal contest are in charge of Coach Wachter and E. M. Kellcher, president of the New England Basketball Rules Association. The most important recent change is the reversal of the rule made last spring limiting the dribble to one bounce, and this will probably be the center of interest in the demonstration according to Wachter.
