That the old Fogg Museum has been acquired by the Architectural School for use in four of its departments has been recently confirmed by Professor G. H. Edgell '09, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture.
The branches of the school which have been established in the building are those of Construction, Graphics, Freehand Drawing, and Water Color. The large gallery upstairs now houses the desks of engineering construction students, while the side galleries upstairs and downstairs are used respectively for watercolor and life classes.
The entrance hall has been redecorated and is to be used as an exhibition room for students drawings, space for which was lacking in Robinson Hall.
While the Architectural School has taken over the front-part of the old Museum, the semi-circular lecture-room at the back has been retained by the College for lectures on Fine Arts and allied subjects.
Professor Edgell stated that the School expects to have money donated within ten years for another building, so that the old Fogg may not be a permanent adjunct to Robinson Hall.
