1931 FACES DANGEROUS SOCCER FOE IN ANDOVER

Schoolboy Eleven Has Clean Slate for Past Season--Game to Begin at 2.30 O'clock

An unbeaten soccer team from Andover Academy will face the 1931 soccer combination this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock on Soldiers Field, in what promises to be one of the season's toughest games for the first year men. Andover Academy is always a dangerous opponent, and for the past four years, the Andover lads have trampled on the Freshmen. With a powerful group of individual players the 1931 booters lack only team work.

The Crimson squad enters the game as the underdog, having suffered several defeats, while Andover enters the game with a clean slate. A comparison of the previous games favors Andover, for the Academy beat Tabor 3-1, while Tabor downed the Crimson Freshmen 2-1, and both Andover and the Freshmen defeated Dean Academy.

The 1931 squad will line up as follows: Faude, g.: Des Roches, l.f.b.: Smith, r.f.b.: Rolland l.h.b.: E. C. Carter, c.h.b.: Bland, r.h.b.: Carroll, l.o.f.: Carrigan, c.i.f.: Grover, r.i.f.: and W. D. Carter, r.o.f.
