The University baseball team will play Colgate College on the Soldiers Field diamond on May 28, it was announced by the manager, R. A. Magowan '27, yesterday. This game has been scheduled to replace the annual home game with Princeton, which will not be played this year.

Harvard last played Colgate in baseball in 1922, in a very close contest, resulting in a 2 to 1 victory for the Crimson. Although Colgate showed themselves hard and frequent hitters, the University nine through steady pitching and error less fielding, proved themselves the superior team.

Another open date in the baseball schedule, left by the cancelling of the game in Princeton on May 21, is not yet filled, but it is stated that it is being sought by a large number of strong teams, particularly from the South and West.
