The University tennis team has been invited to an intercollegiate indoor tournament which will be held at Cornell University on February 11 and 12. This is the first time that such a tournament has been attempted. Although the trip is still subject to the approval of the Athletic Committee the Crimson players have made tentative arrangements for the clash.
J. F. W. Whitbeck '27, L. H. Gordon '27, P. M. Lenhart '27, and B. W. Whitbeck Jr. '29 will probably represent the University on the courts. Two trophies are offered, for the victorious team and for the individual player who scores the highest number of points. Yale, Dhio State, Lehigh, Michigan, and Dartmouth have already entered teams.
