POLOISTS RESUME PRACTICE IN COMMONWEALTH ARMORY

Was Under Quarantine--Players Have Been Using Cavalry Mounts

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The quarantine which has hung over the Commonwealth Armory has been lifted, and the University Polo team took possession of the ring for practice yesterday afternoon. The Crimson malletmen have been unable to move in their ponies until yesterday, and they have been forced to use the Cavalry and Artillery mounts. Hampered by strange horses, the poloists have been unable to train as often as they would have desired.

With their own ponies available, the University riders will start a serious training campaign. As the horses have been practically idle so far during the indoor season, it will probably be some time before they are in top form again. The trio's next clash comes on Saturday night, when they meet the crack team from Battery A.
