DEAN MOORE TO OPEN SERIES OF TALKS ON NOTED AUTHORS

Initial Lecture Will Treat "Horace"--Open to University

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

On February 9, Dean C. B. Moore, of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, will give the first of a series of lectures on famous authors. Dean Moore will take "Horace" as his subject, and will be followed on February 16 and February 23 respectively by Professor J. D. M. Ford on "Cervantes", and Professor C. B. Gulick on "Plato".

The lectures will be given on the successive Wednesday afternoons mentioned above, and will all start at 4.30 o'clock in Emerson D. They are intended primarily for students concentrating in ancient and modern literatures, and are planned to furnish some additional guide and suggestion for the private study of such men.

They are, however, open to all members of the University and of Radcliffe, no tickets being necessary for admission. They are not open to the public.
