Captain Wood Leads Crimson in Mat Debut Tonight

The University grapplers will go on the mat tonight for the first time this season when they pit brawn and muscle against Columbia at 8 o'clock in the Hemenway Gymnasium.

Strong opposition is expected Coach Lewis announced last night. Columbia has had three previous meets this season, and has come out on top in all of them. The Columbia Alumni, the Elizabeth Y. M. C. A. of New York, and Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute number their victims and the Columbia mat-men will try to even up the 21.8 defeat handed them by the Crimson last year.

Sesit Beat Hayne

Captain Sesit, Columbia football start who pinned Hayne of the University to the mat in three minutes and 47 seconds last year will face P. D. Howe '28 in the 175 pound event. Sesit is a veteran of the mat, being one of the leading contenders for Intercollegiate honors for the last two years.

Ollyphant, 135 pounder and Henriques 145 pounder, Columbia veterans, present a double threat in their events.
