A squad of 31 athletes has been chosen by Coach Farrell to make the trip to Princeton next Saturday. At the same time the track management announced that the preliminary arrangements for the Harvard Interscholastic meet have been completed.

The M. I. T. meet, which was the first real test of the season, furnishes the chief basis for the Princeton meet selections which have been made.

Stars Rounding Into Form

With Miller, Kane Watters, Haggerty, Tibbetts and O'Neil all rapidly reaching the height of their form the Crimson chances are very bright in the running events. The squad which departs from Cambridge includes all of the other men who have been in particular prominence this year and a few who have come to the fore recently.

The list, which may have a few additions later, is as follows: sprints, A. H. Miller '27, H. B. Peck '26, C. G. T. Lundell '27, L. D. Brayton '28, J. H. Broome '26; hurdles, J. S. Ballantyne '27, S. M. Clarke '26, K. P. Smith '27; 440, F. P. Kane '26, J. S. Malick '27; 880 and mile, J. N. Watters '26, E. C. Haggerty '27, A. H. O'Neil '28, E. B. Boyce '28, W. L. Tibbetts '26, R. G. Luttman '28; jumps, S. B. Jones '26, Charles Jenney '26; pole vault, L. O. Combs '26, F. B. Clark '28, B. G. Burbank '28, R. R. Impaik '28, R. B. Hocking '28; weight events, C. A. Pratt '28, M. A. Cheek '26, W. P. Locke '27, F. W. Dorman '26, T. R. Hull '26, P. E. Berglund '26, Edmund Burke '26, C. H. Bradford '26.

Coincident with the announcement of the definite entries in the Princeton meet comes the preliminary arrangements for the Harvard Interscholastic track meet on May 15. Manager F. T. Gibson '26 said yesterday that about 300 invitations have been sent out, and 36 schools have already signified their intention of entering men. The Harvard Athletic Association is particularly anxious to have a large number of small schools enter men, and to emphasize competition of individuals rather than of teams. With this end in view, five places will score this year instead of four, and ribbons will be given to those who take fourth and fifth places.

Meet Entries Close Tomorrow

Entries for the meet close tomorrow. Exeter and Andover are at present the leading contestants entered, although attempts are being made to get a large western school to enter which may beat out either of the Phillips academies. Andover carried off the honors in the meet last year, and has already been victorious over the Harvard Freshmen this spring. Several new schools are coming in this year, among them Broomfield High and Clark School. Several Burlington High athletes are also coming down from Vermont, to show that the competition is not limited to a 50 mile radius around Boston.

In all 350 to 400 competitors are expected from schools which are scattered over New England. Some of the leading ones are Huntington, Andover, Exeter, Broomfield, Clark, Medford, Cushing, Burlington, Milton, Brookline, Thayer, Cambridge Latin, and Boston Latin.

The meet begins at 1.45 o'clock so that it precedes the Dartmouth meet which is scheduled for later in the afternoon. Following the meet a dinner will be given to the interscholastic competitors at the Varsity Club.
