In a fast game yesterday afternoon, the Crimson Seconds held the University batsmen to a 4 to 2 score. Ellis on the slab for the Seconds pitched a good game.
One of the features of the contest was Todd's liner down the first base line into right field in the first inning which went for a triple.
Rusin slammed out a home run a little later, and with Chase on the bases in front of him, accounted for both of the Second's scores. Barbee did the hurling for the regulars with Puffer replacing him in the eighth.
This afternoon the second team will play the Tufts Freshmen on Soldiers' Field.
