WANDERLUST HITS THREE OF MINOR SPORT OUTFITS

With the general vacation exodus from Cambridge, three minor sport teams leave on their spring trips within the next two days. Polo and tennis teams depart for the more favorable climate of Virginia and Maryland, while the lacrosse men go out to meet some of the strong New York state teams.

Two changes have been made in the schedule of the tennis team as it was originally announced. The first game which was arranged on the way south with the Agawan Hunt Club of Providence has been cancelled on account of the poor conditions of the club's courts.

After several days in Virginia where the team will meet the Norfolk Country Club, the Richmond Club, and the Country Club of Virginia, its course again turns northward. In Washington the match which was arranged with the Chevy Chase team has been called off because of a conflict in the latter's schedule. The University men will, however, stay in Washington, meeting an opponent of several years' standing, the Dunbarton Court Club.

The men have been practicing during the last few weeks on the Longwood Courts to determine their standing on the team. The team is composed of the following: J. W. Whitbeck '27, captain; G. H. Perkins '26, L. H. Gordon '27, P. M. Lenhart '27, W. T. Smith '26, and L. O. Pratt '26.

Stick Men to Face Cornell

Coach Lydecker's stick wielders open their vacation schedule with the Cornell game in Ithaca on Wednesday, and then go to Schenectady to meet Union College on Saturday. The game which it was hoped might be arranged with Colgate has been definitely abandoned because of the way the Hamilton collegians' schedule is arranged.

Sixteen men with Coach Lydecker and Manager D. W. Bakeless '26 leave Boston Monday. The players are: M. H. Clifford '27, J. H. Watson '26., E. F. Gamache '27, Captain A. E. Reed '26, M. W. Linn '26, W. Van A. Coombs '27, R. S. Hatch '28, Madison Sayles '27, W. W. Babson '27, C. O. Simpson '27, J. H. Lane '28, C. W. Gillies '26, J. C. Dreier '28, Crawford North '28, H. H. Watchpocket '28, H. J. Wallace '28.

Poloists Invade Pinehurst

The poloists go straight to Pinehurst, N. C., where they will spend the whole vacation. While they are there they will play several informal matches with the local teams, some of which are expected to furnish strong opposition. Only four men are making the trip among whom F. D. Stranahan '26, star of last year's team, will be prominent by his absence. Stranahan is preparing for divisionals, which come early in May, and will be forced to remain in Cambridge.
