In the recent bridge tournament held at the Union the team which carried off the trophies consisted of B. J. Reines '28 and H. P. Silbert '28. Each member of the winning team will receive a silver loving cup. Fred Solomon '27 and Irving Gerstein '27 were the members of the team which was runner-up.
About 25 teams composed of two men each took part in the tournament. Forty hands were played in the finals, the winning team succeeding in taking two out of three rubbers.
The Union has also announced the winner of the bowling tournament, he first which the Union has had, made possible by the cooperation of the Colonial Club. The highest score in the tournament was made by K. F. Nash '27, and Andrew Wyman '26 scored a close second, trailing by only two points. Both the winner and the runner-up will receive medals.
