Seconds Lose to Brown '30

In the fourth period of yesterday's game between the Brown Freshmen and the University Seconds, J. Monroe, Brown quarterback, caught a punt. He was standing on his own 15-yard line at the time, and two tacklers were close upon him. Quick as a flash, Monroe took a half-step forward almost into the arms of his foes, twisted and turned and shot toward the side-lines. Falling in behind perfect interference, he ran the 85 yards to the winning touchdown without a hostile hand being laid upon him. The final score was 9 to 6.
