JUNIORS DOWN SENIORS, 3-0, IN HARD-FOUGHT CLASS GAME

Heard's Field Goal Enables 1928 Team to Keep Slate Clean

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Junior Class football team won its third straight game when it defeated the Seniors yesterday afternoon by a 3 to 0 count. A 30-yard dropkick by Heard, 1928 quarterback, decided the issue in the third quarter of a hard-fought game.

This occasion in the third period when Heard made his field goal was the only time during the game that the winners threatened the 1927 goal. The Seniors, on the other hand, playing a much more aggressive game than heretofore, started two strong attacks against the Junior's goal-line, but heavy offside penalties nullified these advances. At one time Byshe of the Senior team recovered a 1928 fumble and ran for a touchdown, but the hall was brought back because Byshe kicked it before picking it up.
