ANNOUNCE 100 JUNIOR USHERS FOR CLASS DAY

TWO MEN ACCEPT POSITIONS BUT FAIL TO SIGN THEIR NAMES

The names of 100 Junior Ushers for the Class Day ceremonies were announced last night by R. H. Field '26, Head Usher. This list is not as yet complete, but the remaining men will be picked within the next few days.

At the same time, R. H. Dyer and H. R. Jones were added to the list of assistant head ushers. They will report on Tuesday with the other ushers. All men are supposed to wear white flannels throughout the day.

The first meeting of these ushers will be on Tuesday at 9.15 o'clock, when they will convene in Harvard 2 to receive badges and instructions. They will next report at 1.15, when their first duty will be to clear the Yard. At these meetings, the full program of their duties during the day will be announced.

Their main functions will be to usher in Sanders Theatre and in the Stadium at the different ceremonies. They will have complete control of the gates, supervising the ticket-takers, and giving out programs. The assistant head ushers will marshall the parade to the Stadium in the afternoon.
