OXFORD OR CAMBRIDGE TO DEBATE WITH UNIVERSITY

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Either Oxford or Cambridge will debate against the University next fall, it was announced last night by the Debating Council. The Committee on Activities has approved the debate and the final negotiations are now under way.

This will be the first time that the University has meet any debating teams from the well known English institutions since the Oxford debate in the fall of 1923.

In the two international debates which have already been held, the University and Oxford have each won once, so the debate this fall will break the tie existing at president.

During the English team's proposed visit this fall it will debate several other American teams in addition to the one from the University.
