In vain were the donations, execrations, and castigations heaped by the Freshman Class on the Seniors yesterday, for at a late hour last night it was learned that the plates of the pictures of both classes were null and void.
Despite perfect conditions of weather, when plates came to be developed they were found to be blank, for some reason unknown to the photographer or the Seniors in charge. Accordingly, the Senior picture will be retaken at 1 o'clock today on the steps of Widener, with none of yesterday's celebrations a scant five minutes will suffice.
The Freshman Class proved itself more generous than ever before by contributing the sum of $244.24, greater by $85.11 than last year's collection. The increase is largely attributed to the coup of setting a price of $50 on a solo by H. T. Dunker '25 after all other enticements had been exhausted.
