Gore Hall by winning three first and three second places in the Winter Interdormitory sports competitions, has almost grasped the interdormitory cup. According to the announcement made by Mr. D. J. Kelly, who is in charge of interdormitory sports, Gore secured a total of 27 points, Standish 18, and Smith 16.
The Fall competition was won by Gore Hall, and those points, with the 27 recently won will be counted toward the final total in June. Then the dormitory receiving the highest number of points will be awarded the cup for Freshman dormitory athletic supremacy.
The name of the winner will be inscribed on the bronze shields in each dormitory, which were presented three years ago by Mr. J. I. Straus '93. Upon these shields it is recorded that Standish has won the championship five times and Gore and Smith three times each since the inauguration of the contests 11 years ago.
