Will Hold First Trials on May 12 for Comite France-Amerique Award

The preliminary trials for the gold medal offered by the Comite France Amerique will take place on Tuesday, May 12, it was announced last night.

Each candidate for the preliminaries, which will be held at $ o'clock in the evening in Sever 36, should prepare a five-minute speech in French on any subject pertaining to French affairs to be delivered without notes.

Professor L. J. A. Mercies is in charge of the contest and will be willing to consult with candidates in Sever 19 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 3o'clock.
