The University polo team will play Yale tonight in New York at the Squadron A Armory in the preliminary round of the intercollegiate indoor polo tournament. Only two other colleges, West Point and Pennsylvania Military College, are represented. These teams will play tonight in Brooklyn.

Yale has twice defeated Harvard in polo this season. The first time was on November 21, when the University was defeated 8 to 3. On December 6, Yale was again the winner by the small margin of 7 to 6. Since then, the University team has shown great improvement. R. A. Pinkerton '27 has been playing an especially brilliant game.

The University team is composed of Alexander Shaw '28 at one, W. H. White '28 at two, and R. A. Pinkerton '27, back. These men, with F. D. Stranahan '26 as substitute, left yesterday at 1 o'clock for New York, where they attended a dance last night in order to get some exercise after the long train journey. Mr. F. G. Carnochan '14 has been kind enough to loan his polo ponies to the University team for the game tonight.

The finalists in the tournament will play for the title next Saturday, March 28.
