"ANDRE SHERY" MATCHES WITS WITH 1926 ROOM COMMITTEE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

One member of the class of 1926 carried his anonymity too far in the room applications for the Yard dormitory, it was reported yesterday at the Bursar's Office. The Senior Dormitory Committee specified that only a fictitious name appear on the outside of each application envelope in order to ensure fair play in the draw. One Junior took no chances, however, but put his fictitious name only on the inside as well. The envelopes were turned over unopened to the Bursar after the allotment was made. In opening the envelope of "Andre Shery", it was discovered that the name on the inside was also "Andre Shery", so the mythical Mr. Shery has been assigned a room in Thayer Hall.

Neither the Bursar's Office nor the Senior Dormitory Committee has any way of checking up on Mr. Shery's identity, but they are still holding his room for him. The Committee made it known last night that the wary Junior may reveal his identity with perfect safety, and that, in fact, he must do so if he wishes to gain a clear title to his room.
