RACQUETMEN DEPART FOR BUFFALO TOURNEY TODAY

DIXON STILL UNDECIDED ABOUT INDIVIDUAL TOURNAMENT

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University squash racqueis team will leave today for Buffalo to take part in the National Squash Tournament which will be held there tomorrow, Sunday and Monday. As entries do not have to be made until tonight, it is impossible to state how many, teams will try for the title, but in all probability at least a dozen will participate. Five matches will be played by the team which reaches the final round, and as the team championship tournament starts on Saturday morning the finals will be played on Monday afternoon.

The University team will be composed of W.P. Dixon '25, G.D. Debevoise '26, H.N. Rawlins '27, E.M. Upjohn '25 and A.L. Smith '25. Whether or not Dixon will enter the individual tournament is not definite as yet, but it is probable that he will do so unless he feels that his action reduces the efficiency of the team. Coach Cowles and Dixon will leave this morning at 10 o'clock, and the remainder of the team, accompanied by Manager E.L. Hunt '25 and P.M. Lenhart '27, the only Crimson substitute, will follow this evening at 6.10 o'clock.

In Buffalo the individual tournament will be played on the Buffalo Tennis and Squash Courts and the team tournament will be divided between the Buffalo Tennis and Squash and the Saturn Club courts.
